Every form of liquid that is drank to satiate a thirst or for enjoyment is referred to as a beverage. They can be produced from a number of ingredients and come in both hot and cold varieties, as well as with or without alcohol. Water, tea, coffee, juice, soda, and energy drinks are examples of typical non-alcoholic beverages. On the other hand, alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, and spirits like gin, vodka, and whiskey all contain the chemical ethanol. Drinks can also be created by mixing components, as in the case of smoothies, shakes, and cocktails.
